Nipson SAS announced the official release of a new proprietary fluorescent toner, developed to meet the ever-growing market demand for anticounterfeiting solutions.

This new toner, T3000SY, is a toner that fluoresces yellow when illuminated by a standard UV light source. T3000SY is the result of the first phase of a more comprehensive security toner development program. Following extensive testing it is now available to order. Other colors will be developed at a later stage.

Nipson's fluorescent toner can be used with the DIGIFlex and VaryPRESS product ranges. Toner deliveries will be accompanied by a conformity certificate confirming Nipson's compliance with strict quality control and security measures from supply to manufacturing and delivery.

"This toner has been specifically developed to facilitate fraud detection. Copies or reprints of the original document would not fluoresce under UV light, something which is quite easy to detect," explains Jean-Pierre Poyer, Marketing Manager. "With this fluorescent toner we offer customers an even wider choice of security features. Combined with magnetic toner and MICR and Microline fonts, fluorescent toner further increases the level of counterfeiting protection our solutions can help to achieve."

The new fluorescent toner will be one of the eye catchers at Nipson's stand at the upcoming Ipex exhibition in May 2010, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. From May 18 to 25, Nipson will be showcasing its flagship presses DIGIFlex and VaryPRESS at stand number 12-C116, demonstrating the power of integrated solutions. Among the many value-generating applications printed live at the show will feature a selection of security applications using the new toner.
