The annual
DOCUMENT Strategy Forum, held in Chicago this past November 1-3, rang in its
fourth birthday with a statement — document strategy is still the number one
priority in an enterprise. It is no surprise then that this focused, intensive
and peer-to-peer event, one in which exclusively addresses the end-to-end
transactional and corporate communications strategy, celebrated an ever-growing
exposition floor and expanded conference program in 2011.

Attendees networking at the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum

    Attracting 198 verified attendees, of
which 28% generate three-plus million outbound transactional
documents per month, with an additional 56 exhibitor personnel representing 30
exhibiting companies, the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum proved yet again that its
unique formula for a focused business solutions conference packs a powerful
punch. "It was the best run program of the year, and we did eight shows in 2011.
It was very productive for us," said Kevin B. O'Brien, CEO, OBRIEN Document
    Solutions.

    Originally founded
on the educational and high-level editorial of its first conference partner,
DOCUMENT magazine, the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum continued to expand its highly
rated conference program, offering in its 2011 line up six tracks (SharePoint Best Practices, Document Strategy, Output Management, Mailing
    Optimization
, Forms Management, Design and Workflow and Forms and
    Mobile Technologies
    ), five all-day pre-conference workshops, over 50
    sessions and 45 speakers.

    As organizations
continue to grapple with the real changes in how they communicate with their
customers, Conference Director for the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum, and Editor of
DOCUMENT, Allison Lloyd, explains she was focused on addressing such strategies in 2011. "With
the growth of mobile technology, explosion of social media sites and the
growing tech-saavy nature of consumers, we understood the importance of these
trends within the conference at the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum. In order to fully
provide strategic and an end-to-end education, we teamed up with experts in the
industry, with content partnerships with AIIM, Gimmal Group, Photizo Group
and Business Forms Management Association (BFMA)," she said.

    "I was able to
meet and network a lot. The presenters were very willing to discuss topics with
us. I would recommend fellow associates to attend the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum," said attendee, Annette
    Donley, IT Administrator, Auto-Owners Insurance.

Forrester analyst, Craig Le Clair, gives his Keynote on Opening Day

In his Opening Day Keynote, "The State of the Document Processing
    Services Industry 2011,"
    Forrester vice
president and principal analyst, Craig Le Clair, noted that there is
real opportunity in this new business landscape but also a lot of challenges in
    harnessing these "untamed business processes."

    "We know our
attendees are serious document professionals looking for real strategies. We
truly believe we offer something that is special — a true document strategy for
enterprises interested in embracing the future with everything it has to offer
    ," says Ms. Lloyd.

Attendee listening to solution provider on the Expo Floor

Not only building upon its conference
program, the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum expanded its Exhibit Hall to include 30
exhibitors, a 25% increase from 2010, and also introduced two new pavilions
addressing the SharePoint and eForms markets. While still
staying true to its unique formula of creating a serious one-to-one environment
for buyers and solution providers to have a true business exchange, the
well-received addition of the new pavilions reflected the growing need for
these sectors. The SharePoint Applications Pavilion featured GimmalSoft, KnowledgeLake, NextDocs, ARX, Inc. and Metralogix in
conjunction with the Gimmal Group. In addition, the new eForms
    Pavilion
, sponsored by the Business Forms Management
    Association
, introduced OBRIEN Document Solutions, Cerenade, Avoka and FormAssembly.

"We enjoyed meeting many existing and new
clients and partners at this boutique event. It's great to have quality time to
really discuss the growing and changing needs in areas of compliance, document
security, messaging and multi-channel delivery — and share how our workflow
automation solutions can benefit their organizations," said Mary Ann Rowan, CMO,
    VP Sales, Solimar Systems, Inc.

"Just like the industry we serve, DOCUMENT
Strategy Forum continues to evolve. Where this event began four years ago
content-wise and where we are today is a reflection of the rapidly changing
landscape when it comes to producing, delivering and managing customer
communications documents," says Joel Dunkel, President, EventEvolution
Management, Inc., producers of DOUCUMENT Strategy Forum. "I'm excited about
what we accomplished this year and look forward to building on our success in
    2012," Dunkel continues.
