BerkOne Inc., a leading provider of business process automation, IT and security solutions, completed the acquisition of Amtek Data Corp on July 1, 2016.

When we started acquisition discussions, I initially described Amtek to our senior management team as ‘a smaller version of BerkOne.’ Both firms are experts in content management and complex workflow solutions. Both sell software and hardware and provide professional services to implement turn-key systems. And both provide service bureau operations for mail room, imaging and data entry, as well as the document management systems to enable efficient retrieval. Even our company values are aligned as both list ‘integrity’ first,” said BerkOne’s president Tim Fehr.
“Our plans are to retain Amtek employees and to fully integrate its Syracuse operations as another node on our corporate network. Although BerkOne and Amtek provide similar services to companies and government agencies across the country, we have no overlapping customers. This simplifies the integration of Amtek’s customers into BerkOne’s performance proven client support system,” said Tom Tripodi, BerkOne vice president.
During the transition, BerkOne will welcome John Bates, Amtek’s president, as an integral part of the BerkOne business development team.
