Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing and secure document delivery solutions, today announced the release of SOLitrack™ version 1.6, Solimar's document tracking solution. SOLitrack is a database-centric output management system with a web-based interface to track, control and manage print files. SOLitrack is supported on Microsoft® Windows® 8, Microsoft® Windows® Ultimate and Windows Server® 2012 platforms.

SOLitrack provides automated time-saving features that simplify job status tracking, security and accounting in production data centers and distributed print environments.

"SOLitrack is designed for organizations managing high volume transactional printing workflows," said Mary Ann Rowan, CMO and Vice President of Sales. "It tracks the job status and progression of print workflows. High volume print provider organizations often lack tools that furnish real-time status of production projects in progress. SOLitrack acts like a document GPS for jobs and is often integrated with ADF dashboard solutions that enable document tracking down to the individual piece level so documents can be found, viewed, approved, rejected, put on hold, and commingled prior to the printing/insertion processes."

SOLitrack enables organizations that experience dynamic changes to production workflows to make real-time decisions and adjustments concerning available print devices, workloads and job priorities. In addition to flexible database-driven event reporting, SOLitrack provides accounting data for bill-backs and invoicing.

"SOLitrack helps organizations to manage priorities and to make adjustments within transactional printing workflows to ensure project deadlines are met," added Rowan. "SOLitrack is ideal for service bureaus and print providers with strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and specific deadlines for their customers. In many cases, SOLitrack will help organizations mitigate the risk of SLA violations and financial penalties."

Building on a history of successful technology development, SOLitrack 1.6 further demonstrates Solimar's continued commitment to delivering powerful output management solutions for its clients.
