Michael Walter is a Managing Director with global consulting firm Protiviti. He is a leader with the firm’s Security and Privacy practice as well as Protiviti’s GDPR Working Group, where he focuses on security and privacy consulting for large organizations across the United States. Michael has more than 15 years of information security experience, including six years at IBM in the Managed Security Services team. He has spoken at a variety of conferences and seminars on topics such as Risk Management, PCI, Security Information Management, Social Engineering, Enterprise Security Services, Intrusion Detection Best Practices, and Business Intelligence in Information Security.
