Crawford Technologies, provider of innovative document solutions that streamline, improve and manage customer communications, and Content Critical Solutions, Inc. (CCS), a provider of technology solutions, process outsourcing and production services, have been recognized with an Honorable Mention for Xplor’s 2020 Application of the Year Award. The Application of the Year Award is presented to companies demonstrating high achievement in the innovative application of technology or the distinctive implementation of existing document and communication systems.
CCS partnered with Crawford Technologies to implement PRO Conductor, Crawford Technologies’ end-to-end production workflow solution. PRO Conductor was chosen for this initiative because it works seamlessly with CCS’s print files and connects with all CCS’s installed print and finishing equipment and software. One year after partnering with Crawford Technologies to implement PRO Conductor, the positive results for CCS are significant. The PRO Conductor implementation has facilitated total control over production operations at the company’s three plants and enabled major efficiency improvements through standardized operations, reducing overall costs. CCS has improved document integrity to meet Six Sigma standards and a key metric of job rejection rate was reduced by 200%.
“PRO Conductor’s implementation has transformed Content Critical in so many ways, much of it due to the expertise of the Crawford Technologies professional services team,” stated John Slaney, CTO at CCS. “During the project, our volume grew by 40% and we were still able to make all the workflow and process improvements recommended without adding any additional staff, making this the ideal solution for growing companies.”
Additionally, PRO Conductor’s dashboard, augmented by automatic collection of production metrics, has allowed CCS users to better manage all aspects of the automated production operations, resulting in better utilization of printers and inserters, better management of print files and jobs, improved billing accuracy, and reduced time required to complete customer audits from days to hours.
“It was a pleasure to work with CCS to provide a modern, automated workflow platform that supports the continued growth and profitability of CCS and leverages its investments in high-speed inkjet and state-of-the-art finishing hardware and related software,” said Ernie Crawford, president and CEO of Crawford Technologies. “We are thrilled to see the measurable impact PRO Conductor has had on CCS’s production workflow efficiency.”
