In May, Kodak Alaris hosted partners from around the globe at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y., home to the company’s U.S. headquarters. While in town, partners visited the Kodak Alaris Experience Center where they were briefed on the company’s strategic plan, recent product innovations and new central solutions strategy, led by Jim Forger, Vice President of Business Solutions, Kodak Alaris.

“We highly value the input and perspective from our partners, so being able to host them in Rochester was the perfect opportunity to share and hear thoughts on our future vision, explain our central solutions strategy and demo our latest products at our experience center,” said Forger. “We did all this while enjoying the PGA Championship golf experience that we’re so appreciative came to Rochester this year.”

Kodak Alaris has created a central solutions organization with dedicated resources aimed at accelerating the company’s growth strategies in the Intelligent Document Processing space with its Kodak Info Input Solution and INfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution from Kodak Alaris offerings.

The group discussed how these offerings are needed more than ever as organizations respond to increase in the volumes of information flowing into business processes from a variety of digital and physical sources and the need for more automated solutions given high inflation rates, increased labor costs and a shortage of skilled labor.

US partners were also briefed on the latest regarding the Federal Agency Digital Guidelines Initiative (FADGI), a government effort to move away from paper records, including regulations starting next year where certain government entities will no longer accept paper documents.

“It was great to be back in Rochester and hear from Kodak Alaris leadership,” said Christopher Beasley, CEO, Edge Digital Group. “I truly enjoyed learning about how Kodak Alaris is repositioning itself in a new market, providing feedback on what I’m hearing from customers, and of course taking in some stellar golf.”
