EventEvolution Management, Inc., producers of DOCUMENT Strategy Forum, May 13-15, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency, Greenwich, CT are pleased to announce the launch of CONNECT IT Conference.
The CONNECT IT Conference will be co-located with DOCUMENT Strategy Forum ’14 and will focus on helping business leaders understand how better managing new content and document management tools and capabilities can help them solve their core operational challenges to drive higher revenue, lower costs and higher margins, as well as reduce operational and legal risk.
In a strategic partnership with respected industry thought leaders Joe Shepley of Doculabs and Seth Earley of Earley & Associates, the CONNECT IT Conference will give business and IT leaders the practical, actionable strategies to bring back to the enterprise and apply for short-term return on investment and long-term advantage.
The conference will feature two tracks covering a wide-variety of content, such as Choosing Tools and Understanding Tradeoffs (i.e., SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText and Adobe); Organizational Maturity and Technology Adoption; Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing and Content Processes; Aligning Short-Term Business Objectives with a Long-Term Technology Strategy; Getting Buy-In to Increase Adoption and Improve Content Hygiene, Developing Realistic and Verifiable Business Cases; Improving Customer Support, Self-Service and Self-Help Content; Making Content-Related Big Data Projects (Voice of the Customer, Social Media Content, Website Behavior “Electronic Body Language”) Practical; and How Firms Across Industries are Leveraging Customer Analytics to Measure Internal Process Effectiveness. In addition to the conference, the Exhibit Floor will feature a CONNECT IT Pavilion, which will showcase companies who can help attendees apply what they are learning in session.
“The technology tools and capabilities available today are becoming more sophisticated and powerful. However, costs, complexity and risks are rising, and all of this happens at increasing clock speeds of industry and technology changes. We’ve created an event where IT and business leaders can come together to learn from each other, their peers within their industry, as well as related business functions across other industries, about how to effectively get ahead of the challenges posed by these quickly evolving technologies in the enterprise,” says Seth Earley, CEO, Earley & Associates.

“We’ve heard talk about the ROI of managing documents and other unstructured data for years now, but there’s been very few resources available to help organizations define and realize that return. With that in mind, we wanted to create a conference focused on helping organizations to define the business value of managing documents properly throughout their life cycle and to solve the people, process and technology challenges they face in doing so,” explains Joe Shepley, Vice President and Practice Leader, Doculabs.
