ibml announced today that Archive Management Systems (AMS), a leading records management services provider to financial, government, healthcare, legal and nonprofit organizations in the United Kingdom, deployed a production scanning and document capture solution incorporating ibml's SoftTrac® Capture Suite software and ImageTrac® scanner.

The ImageTrac scanner provides AMS with the ability to capture high-quality images and data from mixed documents at ultra-high speeds. The ImageTrac features an open flat track with left-justified feeding to handle mixed document batches with ease, in-line intelligent document recognition to extract information and classify documents, and automated document sorting to reduce post-scanning labor. ibml's SoftTrac Capture Suite software provides AMS with high-performance intelligent capture software that applies business rules while scanning and assists with regulatory compliance and information management.

AMS selected the ibml solution based on its superior throughput. Since deploying the solution, AMS has reduced costs and accelerated its processing turnaround, all while maintaining superior quality. The ibml solution also enabled AMS to reallocate one of its full-time employees to other work.

"The accelerated turnaround and lower costs provided by the ibml solution have enabled us to bid on contracts that were previously out of reach," explained Paul Sumpter, sales consultant, Archive Management Systems. "With ibml, our throughput is up to five times faster compared to our old desktop scanning solution. ibml's intelligent capture capabilities also ensure that we provide our customers with the superior image and data quality for which we are known."

"We are very pleased that AMS, a leading records management service provider, has selected a premium ibml capture solution they can leverage to help grow both their top and bottom line results," said ibml President and CEO Derrick Murphy.
