Crawford Technologies announced that its president and CEO, Ernie Crawford, will deliver the Platinum Partner keynote session, "Best Practices for Inclusion in Constituent Communications" at the Digital Government and CX Roadshow on October 30 in Ottawa, Canada.

In his keynote, Ernie Crawford will discuss the challenges agencies face in ensuring communications are readable by all recipients, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities or language proficiency. Crawford will cover best practices being used to overcome these challenges faced by many government agencies both in Canada and globally.

Additionally, Dennis Quon, director of Crawford Technologies’ Accessibility Center of Excellence, will facilitate a roundtable entitled, "Achieving Inclusion Equity in Constituent Communications." The roundtable will discuss how governments can ensure equitable access to digital services for all demographics, what strategies are effective in bridging the digital divide for underserved communities and what role partnerships between government, private sector and community organizations play in promoting digital equity.

With government agencies under increasing pressure to provide inclusive, accessible communications due to legislation and guidelines, such as the Accessible Canada Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Crawford Technologies’ subject matter experts and learn more about the company’s award-winning AccessibilityNow® platform. AccessibilityNow provides a wide range of tailored software solutions and services that help local, state and federal governments and their entities comply with regulations governing document accessibility. Leveraging AI and automation, the solution is flexible and supports both the unique processing requirements of high-volume transactional documents and static documents of all types.

The Digital Government and CX Roadshow is focused on equipping attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to develop comprehensive strategies for optimized service delivery, improved citizen outcomes and innovative solutions that bridge the digital divide and propel government agencies forward.
