Crawford Technologies announces the release of its Digital Transform Engine (DTE) version 5.2. The newest version of DTE, the foundation of the Crawford Technologies portfolio of software and solutions, offers new enhancements that deliver advanced levels of functionality and performance to ensure greater flexibility in the production of customer communications, including accessible documents.

New features in Crawford Technologies’ DTE 5.2 that are designed to reduce the time to create and deliver customer communications include:
  • PRO Image and Operations Express now have support for Apple iOS High Efficiency Image File (HEIC) format images. This allows organizations to incorporate pictures from iPhones into their applications without forcing their customers to change their phones to create larger JPG images.
  • The incorporation of significantly enhanced AI techniques for both AccessibilityNow® Publisher and AccessibilityNow Remediate to fully automate the tagging of static documents. The enhanced AutoSense capabilities further simplify and reduce the effort typically associated with PDF remediation.
  • New functionality for AccessibilityNow Remediate that automates the tagging of fillable PDF forms. This enhancement leverages AI techniques to help end users significantly reduce the time and costs to generate accessible fillable forms.
  • Numerous enhancements and improvements to document transformation and re-engineering technology and workflow solutions.
Crawford Technologies’ flexible deployment options support cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments to meet specific business requirements. These DTE suite enhancements and new features extend to Crawford Technologies’ SaaS implementation, PRO DocNow.

“Communications providers are seeking ways to drive excellent customer experiences by leveraging cost-effective, high-performance, scalable solutions that simplify the creation and delivery of customer communications,” said Ernie Crawford, president and CEO of Crawford Technologies. “We are excited the benefits of DTE 5.2 are designed to answer this demand and we remain committed to continuing to satisfy today’s business requirements with advancements that meet evolving customer communication needs.”
