Transformations Inc., a software solutions company based in Franklin, TN, has announced that Uluro, its front-to-finish customer communications management (CCM) platform, has been selected by Financial Imaging, a leading provider of transaction services and direct mail based in Birmingham, Alabama. Transformations’ Uluro CCM software is meeting customer demand for faster turnaround by making it possible for Financial Imaging to reduce development time for complex applications like personalized transactional statements. Uluro is also supporting the production of the customized direct mail produced by Financial Imaging’s sister company, blue dawg, a nonprofit that supports the direct mail needs of varying charities.
Financial Imaging selected Uluro for its ability to automate complex processes, provide faster implementation and turnaround times and deliver complex communications through multiple channels. With the support of Uluro, the company is able to significantly enhance its workflow, as well as offer customers the functionality of an online customer portal for faster review and approval of documents.
In addition to adopting Uluro’s core CCM platform, Financial Imaging is also deploying Uluro’s uPayments and uCampaign modules. The uPayments module is a payment processing software that sends electronic bills to clients and securely receives payments on their behalf. With uPayments, Uluro clients are able to complement their existing services with electronic bill presentment and secure payment functionality, adding more value to their overall customer offering.
Financial Imaging reports uPayments will make the company’s electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) more efficient as it incorporates the process directly into the workflow, providing the ability to generate and deliver bills across multiple customers without the need for web or database developers. Uluro’s uCampaign module is a web-based, client-facing collaboration solution for managing white space, marketing materials and messaging used in variable data documents. Its ability to streamline mail and electronic campaigns to deliver effective fundraising communications through a variety of channels will be used to support the company’s nonprofit, blue dawg.
“We know that Uluro will make a positive impact on our business. Everything the software has to offer is designed to make us faster and more efficient. For example, we can now accept virtually any input stream—from print image data to XML—and integrate it into our systems and processes. Another big plus is that our clients are able to log in to a portal and plug in the information or the changes and approvals needed and Uluro handles it seamlessly, adding to the speed of what we can offer,” said Ricky Miskelley, owner of both Financial Imaging and blue dawg.
“With time to market being so critical in today’s business world, the fact that Financial Imaging is gaining a competitive edge using Uluro is very satisfying,” said Bill Tidwell, CEO of Transformations. “The ability to create improved workflow processes for a more meaningful customer experience is at the heart of what Uluro is designed to deliver. We are pleased that Financial Imaging is taking full advantage of all that Uluro has to offer.”
