RISO, Inc. will demonstrate advanced full-color inkjet printing with two RISO ComColor® models, the 9050 and 7050, as well as feature high-speed duplicating technology at Booth 2238 during Graph Expo 2011 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, September 11-14.

"At speeds up to 150 pages-per-minute and low full-color running costs, these production-speed, full-color inkjet printers are so fast, affordable, and dependable, that customers have found great cost savings in direct mail, transactional documents, and many other commercial applications," said RISO's Strategic Marketing Manager, Teresa Wagoner.

The ComColor and duplicator models showcased at Graph Expo will be shown printing a variety of unique applications:

    • The ComColor 9050 is the world's fastest full-color, sheet-fed inkjet printer. Engineered for commercial applications, the 9050 gives customers long-running reliability in mid- to high-volume printing environments with a realistic duty cycle of 500,000 prints per month. Three 9050s will be shown at Graph Expo, including two standalone units demonstrating the new ComColor dynamic tray call functionality that automatically pulls and prints up to four different paper stocks on-the-fly for complex transaction, transpromotional, and direct marketing applications. Another 9050 will demonstrate the functions of the optional scanner and finishing system.
    • The 120 page per minute, ComColor 7050 is a versatile solution for production and entry-level commercial environments with robust capabilities; it can add full color to everyday jobs and provides a scalable migration from basic black and white to color for any workflow. The 7050 will be paired with the Kirk-Rudy MICR-Mate to demonstrate a unique transpromotional MICR application with embedded digital void security pantographs.
    • At speeds up to 180 pages-per-minute, the RZ1090 is the world's fastest digital duplicator and the industry champion for speed and production output. The short paper path supports a wide range of paper stocks to deliver extremely reliable spot-color print production. The RZ1090 will demonstrate high-speed envelope production using the Thompson T-100D and T-200 continuous envelope feeding system.

Customers stopping by Booth 2238 may also register to win an Apple iPad, with one iPad awarded each show day.
