Océ an international leader in digital document management and delivery, announces that Andrew Gordon, Océ Manager, Business Intelligence, has been elected Chairman of the 2010 Executive Committee of the Print Industries Market Information and Research Organization (PRIMIR).
The PRIMIR Executive Committee oversees all aspects of the organization and ensures that PRIMIR produces research that meets the needs of both PRIMIR and its parent organization, NPES (The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing, and Converting Technologies). PRIMIR research covers a broad range of topics.
PRIMIR membership recently elected Gordon and other officers and members of the 2010 Executive Committee. Gordon will serve with colleagues from various industry vendors, end user companies and affiliated associations. In addition to serving on the Executive Committee, Gordon is co-chair on a number of strategically important studies. These include Trends in Books: 2007-2012, MegaTrends in Digital Printing Applications, Trends and Future of Direct Marketing, and Transformative Workflow Solutions.

Gordon is a seasoned industry adviser with experience in printing, photo and display industries. He has worked for service providers, technology vendors and consultancies in roles ranging from engineering, technical operations management, marketing, and strategic market research. Prior to joining Océ, he was a Senior Consultant at InfoTrends Print on Demand Consulting Service and Market Research Analyst, Business Development at CreoScitex. As a result, he brings to his PRIMIR role extensive experience in the digital print industry and in professional research methods.
