Company’s alliance with Ricoh across hardware, software and services drives growth in healthcare, finance, and insurance industries

Ricoh USA, Inc. today announced that Sepire, a marketing services and communications distribution company, is growing its capacity to meet market demand by adding a third RICOH Pro VC70000 continuous-feed inkjet platform to its shop floor. The investment comes after experiencing 50% year-over-year growth with clients in the highly regulated healthcare, finance, and insurance industries and makes Sepire Ricoh’s only U.S. customer to currently hold three VC70000 presses.

Sepire is a certified Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) organization that delivers compliance-driven, multi-channel communications solutions to customers. In today’s evolving landscape, this includes services from high-volume printing and fulfillment to electronic delivery, secure workflow management, and data-driven communications.

“Since beginning our engagement just four years ago, Ricoh’s organizational focus on building lasting client partnerships and investing in our success have never faltered. As these values mirror those at Sepire, the partnership has resulted in joint success that goes well beyond capacity,” said Michelle Steinberg, CEO at Sepire. “Ricoh has continuously evolved with us over the years to enable Sepire to compete and win business in highly regulated areas – and ultimately, help our clients streamline, scale, and grow in secure and sustainable ways.”

The award-winning RICOH Pro VC70000 is helping print service providers shift more work from offset to digital without compromising on media choices, image quality, or price competitiveness. The inkjet platform unlocks faster turnaround times, short runs, print-on-demand, and variable-data capabilities while having the speed and throughput to scale with larger customer jobs. A suite of future-ready artificial intelligence and automation tools mean print service providers can spend more time on adding value to their customers and less time on operator intervention.

“Ricoh’s continued commitment to marketplace and customer needs shines bright in the alliance with Sepire,” said Mike Herold, director of Global Marketing, Ricoh USA, Inc. “Many companies are pursuing a more a personalized and cohesive customer experience across their print and digital communications, which demands greater speed, flexibility and automation from the press and the software and services that surround it. The VC70000 helps enable exponential growth in high-value applications with a fully configurable and field-upgradeable platform that is at home in any production environment.”

Leveraging the VC70000, Sepire is G7 certified through Ricoh to match colors across all printer platforms and ensure consistency for clients. In addition, Sepire implements software including RICOH ProcessDirector™ and RICOH Supervisor™ to drive efficiency and automation across the organization – and view all shop processes on one dashboard. RICOH ProcessDirector, is a leading print workflow software that provides an automated and scalable end-to-end production print workflow management solution to help reduce costs, minimize errors and boost productivity.
