Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, announces the launch of two high-speed monochrome MFPs. The new MX-M654N and MX-M754N workgroup document systems deliver high productivity and strong versatility, along with powerful multitasking workflow features and exceptional image quality at speeds up to 75-pages per minute.

The MX-M654N and MX-M754N document systems feature Sharp’s latest technology and are designed for large workgroups and departmental environments with demanding workflow requirements. Larger office settings need top-quality performance and the MX-M654N and MX-M754N models champion this at speeds of 65ppm and 75ppm respectively. The new models refine the user experience with Sharp’s 10-inch diagonal tablet-style touch-screen display, which offers a familiar, user-friendly graphical interface that makes it easy to access features and functions when setting up jobs. The new high-speed MFPs also come standard with wireless networking capability for flexible access from mobile devices. This feature enables users to scan or print documents directly to the MFP using Sharpdesk® Mobile, a free downloadable app for common mobile devices. Both models are also equipped with the latest version of Sharp OSA® technology, which provides expanded integration with network applications and cloud services. The MX-M654N and MX-M754N also support Cloud Portal Office, a content management software service from Sharp for storing and sharing scanned documents and other electronic files, enabling businesses to collaborate more seamlessly.

The new models also offer a full complement of finishing options with features that range from simple sorting and stapling to multi-folding and booklet making. Sharp also plans to introduce a compact inner finisher in Spring 2015.

“The MX-M654N and MX-M754N high-speed monochrome MFPs have been designed for large, busy workgroups, offering high productivity, powerful workflow capability, off-premises cloud support and more,” said Mike Marusic, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Solutions Group, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “These new models enable large workgroups to manage demanding workflows with greater efficiency and produce more professional looking documents in-house.”

The MX-M654N and MX-M754N also support Sharp’s industry-leading security features, which include standard 256-bit data encryption and up to 10 times overwrite protection. In addition, both models come with a convenient End-of-Lease feature that erases all data, address books, and personal information at time of trade in.
